quiet and quaint
Positive: I really enjoyed my stay at the Old Ham Tree. It’s a quaint, rural little place in a lovely village that I only wish I’d had more time to explore. The location was perfect for a relaxing overnight stay, and the beer garden was definitely a highlight.
My room was very well-equipped, and I particularly appreciated having access to the self-service kitchenette. Everything about the stay felt easy and relaxed, including the straightforward check-in and check-out process. The staff were lovely, and the locals were incredibly friendly too, which added to the welcoming atmosphere.
The room was located close to both the main road and the garden, so I had expected it to be quite noisy, but I was pleasantly surprised—it was actually very peaceful.
The bathroom facilities are shared between three rooms, with two toilets available, and they were conveniently located very close to the rooms. For the price, I thought the Old Ham Tree offered great value for money.
I didn't eat at the pub, but there were a range of options and smaller portions too, which is something we don't see often and certainly should.
Overall, I had a lovely night here and would happily recommend it to travellers looking for a relaxed, affordable, and characterful place to stay.
Negative: The only minor downside is that, while everything was clean, the rooms and communal areas are beginning to look a little tired and could benefit from some updating.

Comfortable room, friendly staff, convenient location, many thanks.
Positive: The location was ideal, as I was attending an event in the local church.
Breakfast was provided in the form of serve yourself bread, cereal and coffee/tea; nothing cooked, but that suited me well.
The staff were friendly and helpful when I saw them.
Negative: I didn't see anybody when I checked in, but I did arrive at 9:00pm on a Sunday evening. The key to my room was left under a flower pot with instructions. However, I did know where to go as I have stayed here before, and the room was very comfortable, so no complaints really.

Positive: Near to Bradford, nice beer garden, standard pub, all the basics you need and spotless clean. Reliable for one night on the way to somewhere. More like a cheap motel or hostel than a characterful B&B. Wouldn't stay longer than a night.

Didn't meet the standard of the properties booked via booking.com
Positive: Almost nothing.
Negative: There was only the option of bread and cereal. Bread packet was open already. There was no scoop to get the cereal. No microwave to warm the milk.
Room heater was not working. Shower gel was not provided.
Wifi didn't work for other members, it worked for me alone
